City Demichelis extends contract until 2016
Manchester – Martin Demichelis will still be a Manchester City player at least until the end of next season. The Argentine defender has just signed a contract extension which lasted one year.
Demichelis contract will expire at the end of his life this season. Do not want to lose the player for free, The Citizens finally add the 34-year-old defender contract until the end of the 2015/2016 season.
“I want to tell you that I am very proud and happy to extend my contract for another year,” said Demichelis in the official City website.
“Manchester City is a club with a lot of ambition. We want to grow together. When you hold the trophy, it was the best feeling for any player.”
“I want to tell you that I will fight for this club and for friends my team until the contract runs out. I will fight and win the title,” lugasnya.
Demichelis joined City from Atletico Madrid in the summer transfer market in 2013. In his first season at the Etihad Stadium, Demichelis won the English League Cup and the Premier League.
This season Demichelis has appeared 22 times in the Premier League and scored one goal. He became the sixth player who extended his contract this season after Sergio Aguero, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri and David Silva.
